Though not a fan of the former Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, I won’t stand aside as the system victimizes one of our own through their policy. Why would CBN wait till after the Primaries to announce the cashless policy? How exactly do they want Mrs. Ebele Obiano to compete in this forthcoming election?
I repeat: it is quite unfair! This is the first attempt of our dearest former first lady, the wife of our dear Willie Obiano. And she is competing with principalities and power. Yes, she is racing against Senator Stella Oduah and Tony Nwoye.
Senator Stella Oduah is a one-time minister, 2 times a Senator – and an incumbent. She is a lady whose structure has spread to every part of the senatorial zone.
The other opponent is the rugged Tony Nwoye whose political journey started from the womb. A man who was a president – call it Students’ Union or whatever – Tony was a President when Obasanjo was in Aso Rock.
CBN saw all these and decided to remove the only weapon our amiable former Mama Anambra can fight back with. Now, she couldn’t have her Gucci on, she could not wear her Louis Vuitton. She went to the main market and knelt on the bare floor. Yet, that didn’t save her gentle soul. People are ruthless. Ndi Main Market have no joy.
