Born on October 15, 1957, in Edo State, Nigeria, Mike Ozekhome got his LL.B degree from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), and his LL.M degree from the University of Lagos. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1982. And he has since then become a prominent lawyer in Nigeria, with over 37 years of experience.

Mike Ozekhome is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), a prestigious title given to exceptional lawyers in Nigeria, and has represented several high-profile clients in court cases.
